Terms & Conditions For Laptop Rental Service:

  1. This Laptop rental agreement between Customer [CUSTOMER ] And Cann Copier Services Pvt Ltd, Located at 2102-A, 21st Floor, Marathon Futurex, N M Joshi Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai – 400013. Tel: 70-70-70-86-70
  2. CUSTOMER agrees to pay One Month’s Rent in Advance (For each Laptop) as a refundable deposit. All payments are to be made by NEFT / RTGS. This deposit is usually refundable at the end of the rental period, provided that the laptop is returned in good condition.
  3. Time of Return of the Laptop – Cann Copier suggests not saving any work to the laptop’s hard drive. Save all work to either a USB pen/flash drive or to your cloud account. All files on the hard drive will be deleted once the laptop is returned and cannot be recovered.
  4. CUSTOMER is responsible for using the laptop in a lawful and responsible manner. CUSTOMER must not use the laptop for any illegal or unauthorized purposes, and must not install any software or make any modifications to the laptop without the rental provider’s consent.
  5. CUSTOMER will be required an admin password to install any application on the laptop, Cann Copier may provide you with the same upon the renter’s request.
  6. The provided laptop/Desktop is in good condition, and the CUSTOMER must return it in the same condition at the end of the rental period. CUSTOMER may be charged a fee for any damages or missing parts. CUSTOMER must exercise all due care of the equipment to prevent loss or damage during the period of their rent.
  7. CUSTOMER accepts FULL RESPONSIBILITY for any loss or damage to the equipment caused by your negligence or improper use. “Improper use” includes using the equipment otherwise than in accordance with the manufacturer’s and/or Cann Copier instructions, using the equipment for a purpose other than intended or allowing the equipment out of your control and custody, and failing to protect it from loss or damage.
  8. If the CUSTOMER wishes to renew the duration, then they shall inform Cann Copier at least One Month before the expected return date
  9. CUSTOMER will pay the cost of full repair or replacement of any equipment damaged as a result of your negligence or improper use.
  10. In the event of loss due to theft, the Renter has to bear all the laptop and accessories costs- compensation cost for theft or Loss will be Twenty-Four months of the Current Rent Cost with GST.
  11. CUSTOMER must return all rented equipment to a member of Cann Copier in person so that the equipment can be inspected for any visible damage and your deposit refunded (if applicable).
  12. Late returns [After the expiry of the contract] will result in your deposit being withheld and a fine will be charged at a rate of ₹ 200 to ₹ 500 per day.
  13. All equipment remains the property of Cann Copier Services Pvt Ltd which reserves the right to invoice CUSTOMER for the full value of the laptop should it be damaged or not returned within the day of the agreed rental period.
  14. All equipment must be returned prior to the date & time indicated in your form. The last rent of the day will be at 6 pm and must be returned to Cann Copier before the office closes. Failure to return the equipment after the grace period of the expired day may result in the equipment being reported as stolen to the Police and recovery procedures being invoked.
  15. Cann Copier is responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the laptop during the rental period. This may include repairing any defects or malfunctions in the laptop, replacing any faulty parts, and providing technical support if needed.
  16. In the event of a problem with the equipment during your rental period, please contact Cann Copier making it clear that the equipment is a rental item. Do NOT attempt to fix any hardware problems yourself as this could invalidate the warranty and leave you liable for damage/replacement costs.
  17. CUSTOMER must not alter or replace any parts in the Laptop/Computer nor alter or load any software on the Computer unless that software has been approved by Cann Copier.
  18. The laptop CUSTOMER rent may not be recharged. In this case, please connect to the supplied power supply and connect to a mains power outlet.
  19. If any software issue or admin access is required to install any application, Cann Copier will provide remote assistance through Anydesk remote desktop.
  20. Our technical support team would be available from Monday to Saturday between 10 AM to 6 PM [Except on Holidays].
  21. If CUSTOMER Terminate the contract before the termination date then CUSTOMER has to Pay 50% of all balance month’s Rent as the penalty for early termination of the contract
